The Journey to the Cross… and Beyond
Are you in need of a hope that can conquer sin, darkness, and death? If so, come on a journey this Holy Week.
Beginning on Palm Sunday and ending with the three days that mark Jesus’ trial, death, and resurrection, Holy Week is a time to remember Jesus’ journey to the cross - and beyond. Reading the scriptures throughout Holy Week gives us a chance to walk with Jesus in the last moments of his life and to experience the miracle of his resurrection.
St Aidan’s invites you to join us this Holy Week as we journey with Jesus through scripture on his path to the cross. By walking again this road of glory, we are challenged to embrace the sure and certain hope that defeats all the persuasive lies of sin, darkness, and death.
It is a journey beyond death to a living hope. A hope that conquers all and is available to us all.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he dies, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this? (John 11:25-26)
