Sonshine 2013 – Info sheet on festival event this summer – this year’s major Sr. High Retreat.
April 2013 - S t . A i d a n ’ s Yo u t h C a l e n d a r
April 5 – Topic Discussion on Coping with Stress. 7 – 10pm at the church. We will be talking about Christian ways to handle and cope with stress.
April 7 – Pancakes with Pastor Jonathan. Right after church come enjoy fluffy pancakes, Pastor Jonathan will also be enjoying brunch with us.
April 12 – Service Night. 7 – 10pm gathering at the church. The project is TBA but with joyful hearts we can accomplish anything!
April 14 – Graduation Sunday. Students graduating from high school will be honoured with special prayers & a reception following church.
April 19 – No Youth Group Meeting
April 26th – Vertical Adventures. Indoor rock climbing. Meet at the church at 7pm – pick up back at the church at 10pm. Cost 10$ & you must have the Official Waiver signed by your parents. – remember to RSVP *** Parents we need your help with rides*** Please Rsvp by April 25th !

May 3 – Pizza Night , 7 – 10pm at the church a casual evening of yummy pizza & laughter. Come with an appetite!!
May 5 – Parish Cook – Off & Pot Luck – 4:30pm in the fellowship hall, a great family event. A little competition and a unique way to try new things!! More details in the bulletin & on the parish website.
May 10 – Risk – Games Night , 7 – 10pm at the church.
May 17 – LONG WEEKEND!
May 24 – Dice Car Rally – Annual event. 7 – 10pm at the church. Whose name will make it on the trophy; the dice will decide! Parents we need rivers for this event (gas subsidy) RSVP by May 23.
May 26 – One Heart Service Join other Christians from across the city for this huge worship service. It will be at the new stadium! No 10am service at St. Aidan’s.
May 31 – Service Night – We will be getting outside and maybe a little dirty. 7 – 10pm at the church. Our hard work is really very appreciated by our parish family.
March 29 – Good Friday Inner Room Service. Come out for a contemporary multi–sensory worship service centered around Passion of the Cross; this is the only St. Aidan’ s service with Holy Communion on Good Friday. Service to start at about 7 pm. — Open to the whole parish, guests and friends.
March 22 – No youth meetup. School spring break, enjoy an evening with the family (or friends)
March 15 – Skiing/Snowboarding at Stony Mountain. Meet at the church at 7pm sharp – we will head out to the hill. Skiing for $20 snowboarding for $25 includes equipment rental, lift ticket and lessons if necessary. We will be back at the church around 10:30 pm
*** Parents we must have drivers for this event or it will not go ahead***
March 8 – Lenten Film Night 7 – 10 pm at the church. The youth will be joining the parish Lenten movie, Soul Surfer, and partaking in the short discussion following the viewing. Bring your favorite snack to share (drinks provided).
March 1 – 7 – 10 pm at the church a small examination and discussion of Lent and the Masks that we wear for the world. Are we the same as we appear?
February 1 – Mission Fest. 7:00 – 10:00 p.m.
February 3 - Youth Pancake Breakfast. Following 10 am service. For youth and their guests and friends.
February 8 – Embrace Winter Party. Snow Tubing. Meet at church at 7 pm. RSVP by February 4.
February 15 – No youth meetup due to long weekend.
February 22 – Giant Games Night.
7 to 10 pm
January 18 – Winnipeg Harvest Service Night.
7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Drop off at Winnipeg Harvest, pick-up at the McDonalds across the street.
January 25 – Topic Discussion.
7 – 10 p.m. Meet at the Church.
December 14th – Youth Christmas Banquet. Food and festivities. Leaving the Church at 5 pm. Invitations have been mailed; RVSP today! $ 15 per person.
November 23rd – Inner Room Worship Service. 7 pm.
Musical Accompaniment by Broken Royalty. Open to All, Tailored for the youth and young adults of St. Aidan’s.

November 16 – Friday: Bowling Night at Academy Lanes. Meet at Bowling alley at 7 pm. Pick up will be at the church at 10 pm. Bring along friends for some extra competition. RSVP to Caroline by Thursday. Cost is $5 for each bowler.
October 26th – Friday: Jam Night at the church 7 to 10 pm. Casual worship together; bring your own instruments or just join in the singing.
October 12th – Friday: Laser Tag at Laser Jungle
October 5th – No youth group meet-up on Friday.
October 4th – We will be helping with the Thursday night drop-in and dinner that serve kids in the local ICYA neighborhood. Drop-off and pick-up is at ICYA (418 Aberdeen). Arrive by 5 pm.
September 28 – Topic Discussion “Suiting up for God” from 7 to 10 pm at the church. This is our first evening of focusing on our core passage for this year: Eph. 6:13-18
September 21 – Parish Service Event. We will be blessing our parish from 7 to 10 pm at the church. We’ll also be making plans on ways that we can bless our community and city. This is a chance for you to share ideas and help make things happen.
